On June, 6, 2019 we honored exceptional leaders for their service and commitment to Hollywood at the Taglyan Complex. It was a wonderful luncheon celebrating the work of Captain Cory Palka, LAPD-Hollywood Division, Jay Thomas, Vice President & General Manager, Dolby Theatre, Sue Cabral-Ebert, Immediate Past President, Make-up Artists and Hair Stylist Guild (IATSE, Local 706), and the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
We also presented this year’s Mary Pickford Award to Actress Marla Gibbs and the Johnny Grant Award to Actor Tim Lange.
The Hollywood Chamber Community Foundation’s Heroes of Hollywood Fundraiser Luncheon was created to recognize outstanding individuals, business, and non-profit organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service to the Hollywood community. All funds raised from this luncheon help benefit the community our heroes have worked so hard to improve in the form of grants to local charitable organizations. This year’s Heroes of Hollywood Awards Luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 6th at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood.
